To my wife and to my kids: thank you. Every game on this site was built in hours that should have been yours. The late dinners I missed, the bedtimes I came in late for, the weekends that ended with me at a keyboard — those are debts I owe and intend to pay back.

I worked these hours so the next ones, and the next thousand after that, can be better than what we'd have had otherwise. None of this is worth anything without you, and I know that on the hard nights even more than on the good ones.

And to my own mind: thank you for not giving up. Day after day after day, through tiredness that had no business letting anyone ship anything, you kept going.

Most of what is good about these games was decided at 1 a.m. when quitting would have been the reasonable choice. You didn't. Thank you for that.
